The setting of Cheltenham Ladies College Main Hall will serve as yet another contrasting viewing environment that lends itself well to a live acoustic event. Its ornate, grand interior retains a wonderful intimacy that will offer a unique viewing space that will really contribute toward a genuinely memorable experience.

The Event

CLASSIC film screen

The CLASSIC film screen will juxtapose and contrast the cinema of the early Twentieth Century; most pertinently that of silent cinema with films that saw the incorporation of early audio technology. We aim to showcase early cinema as an evolving technology. This will be achieved by juxtaposing silent films with live piano accompaniment and those with rudimentary audio capabilities.
