Welcome to Cheltenham Film Festival 2011

This year’s Cheltenham Film Festival is something really exceptional, bringing to Cheltenham three days of unforgettable special screening events and much more.

Almost every screening event is complemented by an exclusive supporting introduction or post screening panel discussion with a range of special guests. If you’ve got a passion for cinema then you’ll have the opportunity to exclusively hear some truly celebrated film industry professionals speak, and discuss their work.

We are proud to be presenting within this year’s programme a celebration of several of Cheltenham’s most prolific individuals, including Edward Wilson and Brian Jones!

Simon Pegg

Cheltenham Film Festival is thrilled to announce Hollywood movie star Simon Pegg as its official patron.

The internationally renowned actor, comedian, writer, film producer and director who was born in Gloucester, believes, as we do, that passion for film is best shared.

Simon told us: "It's really important for me to support the festival. It's what I love and it's where I'm from.

"I grew up going to the cinema in Cheltenham and Gloucester, so it feels fitting to be associated with the festival. I'm extremely proud not only to be a patron but also to see that such an event is taking place in my own county."

The Cheltenham Film Festival is proud to have established strong partnerships with a number of organisations that have contributed their talents, expertise, services or financial support - our thanks go to them all and in particular our headline sponsors, Kraft Foods & The Daffodil restaurant.
