Cheltenham Town Hall

Cheltenham Town Hall has been confirmed as the Festival’s Principal location. There is an existing precedent within Cheltenham’s Festival circuit for use of this site. The site is in close proximity to other key festival locations, and is central to Cheltenham’s busy high street and its local transport links with trains, buses and taxis nearby.

The Events

The CFF main screen

The CFF main screen is situated within Cheltenham Town Hall’s grand main hall, a fantastic location for the festival’s primary screen. With a capacity of up to 700 people, the hall offers a grand backdrop to facilitate in the screening of an array of films to satisfy all tastes. The screen will offer audiences the chance to see an assortment of films they may not necessarily have had the opportunity to see on the big screen before in a unique and memorable environment. The screen is dedicated to celebrating some of the finest filmic institutions in the U.K, such as The Pinewood Studios Group. Refreshments and food will be provided by the Town Hall for a variety of tastes including traditional snacks and more alternative offerings. The CFF main screen is sure to offer audiences a truly memorable experience in a truly superb location.

The Arrow World cinema screen

Cheltenham Town Hall will also host The Arrow World cinema screen within the venues Pillar room. The screen is dedicated to some of the most diverse and culturally unique films from around the world. Arrow films have kindly curated the screen and over three day's will present a fantastic program from the far reaches of the globe.

CFF Education

During the day this site will also host CFF education workshops where schools / colleges and members of the public can come ask test their skills at making their own short movies. It is hoped also that there will be an opportunity to showcase the films generated as a consequence of the CFF workshops, allowing budding filmmakers the chance to show families and friends the work they have created.
