Come and have a fun time designing and animating your very own cartoon characters with the animator of Channel 4's Max Bear, voiced by Tom (Dr Who) Baker. A selection of simple workshops will show you just how it's done for the Telly. You will see how Max Bear is made and explore creating your own animated character using Adobe Flash, Photoshop & After Effects. See your own drawings come to life and create your own movies.

“I began my animation career around fifteen years ago when I was asked to create an animated Christmas Special based on a character written by my wife Helena. Channel 4 found the whole concept of Max, the middle aged bear who just loves to cook, and of course eat, very appealing and commissioned the first show in 1998. A series of Max Bear episodes, and a further Christmas Special later, Max Bear goes from strength to strength, expect to see him in the shops very soon and new episodes on Channel 4 in the near future.”
